A Simple Crock-Pot Roast
If you are anything like me, you absolutely love your crock-pot. Chasing 3 kids around makes it very difficult to cook a good meal for us every evening, hence the beauty of the crock-pot. I love being able to throw some food into it and just walk away. This recipe is amazingly delicious, and it is super simple. It only has three main ingredients but it is very versatile, you can put whatever you want into it, and however much you want, which makes it even more desirable. That’s what I like to call a win-win for everyone.
All you need is:
Any type of roast
Bag of baby carrots
Potatoes or any veggies cut in wedges *optional*
1 Package of Sauer’s Pot Roast seasoning
The next part is the best… just throw it all into the slow cooker like so….
As for the seasoning packet, just mix with water according to the back of the package, and pour directly over the ingredients in the slow cooker. If you have a big size roast or lots of veggies, you may want to use 2 packets of the seasoning.
Now all you have left to do is turn that sucker on and let it cook for 4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low. The next time you see this lovely delicious concoction will be on your dinner plate.
Not all slow cooker meals are complete, so we normally pair this with mashed potatoes and mac-n-cheese. But if you put potatoes in the slow cooker, you’ve already got the main food groups covered.
Now, go grab that slow cooker, and let’s get this yummy meal started…
